School life at Parteen National School is filled with opportunity.
All our students are encouraged to get involved with every aspect of school life, from sports to after-school clubs and the school council.
There is a huge emphasis on achievement for all, and children enjoy an exciting curriculum enhanced by outdoor learning activities, trips to places of interest and visits from external providers.

Our school day is varied, with a wealth of creative activities, Aistear, group reading, STEAM activities and digital technology used to enhance teaching and learning. We actively engage with initiatives such as Literacy Lift Off and Mata sa Rang, and more recently the Active Flag.
Children have access to many additional resources outside of their classroom and enjoy sessions in our sensory room, on our astro turf, in our playground and garden area, as well as other green areas in the school.

Our families are a hugely important part of our school community and we strive to build the relationship through excellent home-school communication. Parents are invited to the school to take part in activities such as open days and sports days and our amazing Parents Association play a hugely supportive role in the organisation of such events.
