Facilities

Parteen National School is a hidden gem in the village of Parteen, just 5 minutes from Limerick city.  The school is ideally situated and the excellent facilities, both indoor and outdoor, provide pupils with wonderful opportunities to develop their interests and enhance their academic experience. The outdoor facilities include a large astro turf pitch where children develop their physical skills through both organised sport and recreational play.

Next to the astro turf, there are some green areas and gardens where children can explore the world of nature and develop their horticultural skills.

The indoor facilities at Parteen School include well-appointed classrooms with multimedia equipment and laptops; seven resource rooms for individual and small group teaching and an indoor sports hall which is also utilised for drama productions, assemblies, concerts and after school clubs such as Relax Kids and Irish Dancing.
