Our Goal
To promote positive mental health and wellbeing at Parteen National School, we have decided to take part in the Amber Flag Initiative.
Successful completion of the Amber Flag initiative involves the whole school community coming together to create a safe, positive, and healthy attitude towards our general physical and mental health and well-being.

Wellbeing Committee
We have established our first Wellbeing Committee, made up of pupil representatives from 3rd to 6th Class, as well as some staff members.
Our wellbeing committee planned and organised lots of activities to coincide with what is already in place to promote positive mental health in our school.
Positive Mental Health Aim:
Promote mental health and well-being for all.
Prevent mental health problems through increasing awareness, social support, reducing risk factors such as racism, bullying and isolation.
Improving quality of life for students/people with mental health problems by promoting recovery through awareness and education.
